The Major in Music Performance (MUSA)
This degree program is for the student who wants to pursue a performance career. It can also serve as the foundation for those students who would like to enter graduate school for further performance study as well as study in musicology, ethnomusicology, music theory, composition, arrangement and orchestration, music business, advanced pedagogy, music therapy, collaborative musicianship or music law. In addition, it can serve as the foundation for those students who would like to teach music, especially at the college level.
The student who pursues this major will graduate with a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance.
