Mr. Conklin is an Adjunct Instructor of Music at The College of New Jersey where he teaches:
- MUS 245: History of Jazz
- MUS 260: Exploring Concert Music
My research, through various theoretical and psychocultural methodologies, explores the idiomatic melodic, harmonic, and timbral construction of the primary innovative forces of jazz, such as Bill Evans, Thelonious Monk, and Billy Strayhorn.
